Life unfolds in time frames, seasons and chapters. I got lead into the gang culture in the mid 1990's at the age of 13, only to be incarcerated the following year. At my release I continued as a drug dealer for the next 8 years of my life, loosing my best friend to a drug overdose at 16 years old and almost gunned down at 19 years old. After an overdose at 21 years old my life was spiralling out of control, loosing six of my friends to murder and drug overdoses I found myself broken and hopeless. On February 8th 2004, I reached out and made a decision that would change my life forever, that day I decided to close that chapter of my life and start anew. I found hope, purpose and meaning!
Today, I have a total of 15 family and friends dead as a result of the destructive lifestyle. With personal zeal and burden, I use my experiences in hope to inspire change within this generation.
Its a new season and time to make a difference, I invite you to connect with me to shift the narrative of your personal, school or organisation's story.

There is a sub-culture that operates within our schools, jails and communities. Gangs, drugs and criminal behaviour has been, and will be a culture that is difficult to positively engage from the outside in. With social pressures and the tidal wave of negative media glorifying this culture, we see young people ignorantly entering the vicious cycle of substance abuse, criminal and anti-social behaviour, only to be drowning in their insecurity, depression and mental health issues.
I seek to break this cycle by engaging these communities to inspire change through holistic approach of prevention and intervention strategies, in hope to motivate an intrinsic desire and ambition to be more and achieve more.
