The aftermath of poor choices ripple through our generation; the breakdown in the family structure as single parent families increase have devastating consequences. As a result we witness the struggle of homelessness, drug addiction, sexual abuse, suicide and depression. There is a desperate need in this generation for positive role models.

Tony’s passion is to engage youths with the hope to bring a positive cultural shift in their behavioural patterns through the mentoring relationship process.

The result of positive choices is evident in Tony’s life. Driven by his faith with the credibility of his past, Tony easily connects and speaks with youths on their level. He has worked with the some of the most disengaged young people in South West Sydney with positive outcomes. Now, Ex-drug dealers, gang members and criminals living lives of hope and purpose serving as fathers, husbands and community leaders.

“I’ve had the privilege to be the best-man five times over. Seeing young people turn from destructive lifestyles and live as respectable citizens of the community is my reward. Mentoring goes beyond a job, I am a living trafficker of the hope I experienced to a desperate and needy generation. People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care” – Tony Hoang
